male with a moderate budget, traveling for leisure
Had a stay reserved but decided to splurge and stay at Atlantis. Called the 1 800 number and canceled well in advance. Two months later the charge showed up on my card! Called the 1 800 number, they said I had to deal with the hotel. Called the hotel, they said I had to deal with the 1 800 number. I asked the hotel manager why it took so long to bill my card. He said "We wait a month to see if you show up". Sounds unbelievable, but that is exactly what he said! I can only imagine what the service must be like if you actually make it to the hotel. Okay
I guess as the saying goes you get what you pay for. Especially after seeing what Atlantis is like. We stayed the first night and then switched to Atlantis rooms. The hotel was too much like what we could stay in at home.

Four nights at the Comfort Inn Nassau were enough to turn me off this hotel forever. I visit Nassau on business four to six times a year and have stayed in many (most?) hotels there, but this one takes the cake for the poorest customer service and...
