The continental breakfast was skimpy and was not served early enough for me on Sunday morning. The rest of the facility was very nice and satisfactory.

The light shades were cracked and not all of the light bulbs worked. The worst was the fluorescent light in the bathroom. One of the lights came on, but the other one didn't. The cover to the fluorescent lights in the bathroom was cracked.

My family of six attempted to stay here for the third summer in a row. We go every summer for a local getaway before school starts. The first room had a dirty bathtub and a broken hide-a-bed for kids to sleep in. We were moved to another room and bathroom was covered in "body hair" (on the mirror, tub floor, wall, toilet, drinking glasses, floor, and faucet)\. There were blood stains on the hide-a-bed mattress, pill wrappers on floor, tea bags in the coffee pot, large gross stains on floor, no bath products whatsoever and the room hadn't been vacuumed.
We immediately went to the front desk to explain the problem and desk clerk said I'm sorry but there's nothing I can do. You've been here three hours between the two rooms and if you leave, you forfeit your money. Needless to say, we packed our four young kids up and went home. We complained to the BBB and the hotel stated that we never stayed there before (I have receipts) and that we cursed the owner and desk clerk, which never happened. The owner wasn't even there, it was a Sunday night (Labor Day). We even took digital photos of the filth. We have been back and forth with corporate for three weeks to no avail. I wouldn't recommend this hotel to anyone. My question is this, with the filth we saw; can you imagine what isn't visible to the naked eye?

Its location was a little hard to find due to inadequate signs by the main road. Once we got there the room was as expected -comfortable and clean with plenty of room for the baby to crawl around. My main complaint was the excessive cords that were around every plug-in, for the lamps, phone, alarm clock, etc. It made it very hard to baby-proof the room.
