Staff was friendly -- but, its not like I was there to make friends. The room was horrible. When I first walked in, the room smelled bad. I think there may have been an animal previously occupying the room. They should at least have pet rooms and non-pet rooms. The bed -- ugh, the bed-- the fitted sheet was turned inside out --I don't know --just worries me. --Wrinkled sheets and the bed looked like it had not been cleaned. No bed skirt--so, you could see old stains all over the box springs. Behind, the bedside tables -- there was dust -- inches high -- and lots of dead bugs. The bathroom- there was something brown smeared on the shower. I think you know what it looked like. I can't even think about it anymore. I made my husband go and get disinfectant.
Hotels in the area were booked and it was late at night -- or, I would have left. I did not sleep. The next morning, tried to make a local phone call- phone didn't work. And, the hot breakfast buffet--um, I didn't eat anything and I only let my son get the Cheerios that were sealed. Seriously, my husband ( who will eat anything) got a plate of food and only ate a couple of bites before he wanted to just leave. So, we did. I wasn't going to leave this review and kinda feel bad -- I never leave reviews like this--but, I wish I had read something like this before I booked this hotel over the internet -- the pictures of the room ( on the website )-- I saw no room looking like that!!-- the people who worked there seemed nice. Very friendly. But, the room was just GROSS!!!
