I have specifically requested for a quiet room AND specifically said "not near an elevator" because I travel from overseas and will be jet lagged and tired. Just needed a good night's sleep with no disturbance.
When I checked in, I was specifically given a room NEXT TO THE ELEVATOR! The staff did not do anything to change that and manager is not to be found that evening. No one seem to want to take responsibility of that error.
