Our money was stolen

There is no elevator you have to carry your luggage upstairs. Our room was also on the second floor right next to the door. Whenever someone went through the door we could hear the door open and shut. The next day the front desk clerk was very helpful and switched rooms.
Unfortunately, the next day, while we were out for lunch, the maid cleaned our room and the $45 we had left on a table was missing.
We reported it, but the manager never addressed the situation the day it happened or the next day prior to our checking out.

It is a two-story building and has no elevator. It is very hard to get up the stairs to the room. No offer was made to me to be on first floor. If you have trouble walking don’t stay there.
