of the four rooms I reserved for a family party in town, all had dirty bathrooms and two of them had stained and spotted carpeting and bedspreads. A dirty washcloth was left on the back of a bathroom door and toenail clippings from a prior guest was found in the pull out bed. When I called the front desk to complain, I was told my family members should have complained upon check out, yet only one person was working both the front desk and breakfast room that morning. When I questioned the work ethic and pride of the employees who clean the rooms, I was told I was being rude and judgemental because I mentioned the location as a suburb of Pontiac, Michigan. (I too live in a Pontiac suburb!). The person I spoke to at the front desk told me he would check the condition of the one bathroom that my brothers' family refused to shower in due to the mess in the bathtub and the stained and spotted toilet seat, yet he did not call back with his opinion on the room. (perhaps he was running to Home Depot for a new toilet seat!) I cannot recommend this hotel to anyone who wants a clean place to stay or who actually will need to sit on a toilet! Due to the bathroom filth and the condition of the bedspreads and carpeting, my family actually questioned the cleanliness of the sheets themselves and did not use the pull out bed (where the toenails were found). The sample room I was shown when I made the reservations for my family was clean and, though the bathroom was older, it was not dirty or in disrepair. My brother-in-law had to kil bugs in the room they used for two nights (I think he got them all the first night!) and all four families found themselves outside in the parking lot at about 3:30am when the fire alarm went off. Though this alarm was caused by either a teenage party or an older couple dismanteling the smoke alarm in their room (both explanations given) managment was only able to offer a later check out time for sleeping in as compensation. There have to be cleaner places to stay in Auburn Hills and I suggest you look for a place where the staff actually takes pride in doing their job.

Their cleaning lady claimed we broke a screen. We did not! We were bullied into paying for it or else! We felt like they took advantage of us by using scare tactics.

We will never return and won't be so gullible next time.

It was a very nice facility. The staff was very courteous. It was clean. The kids loved it.

This hotel made me feel relaxed: It was a very comfortable facility. The mattresses were in great shape.
