40 year old male with a moderate budget, traveling for leisure
We found out after we had checked in that the pool was not in service due to a faulty filter. We should have been told that up-front. I would have gone to another nearby hotel since my eight-year-old daughter was looking forward to using the pool and was extremely disappointed. When hotel amenities are not available, the customer should be told that at the time of booking or at check-in. I found this lack of communication disheartening and has soured my opinion of Comfort Suites.
I am not likely
to return to the Comfort Suites.
I would not recommend it to friends.

The rooms are not cleaned daily, even if you request it. The staff is rude and unhelpful. The management is even more abrasive. This is a terrible place to bring a family. Consider anywhere else, unless you like dirt and like being treated like yesterday's garbage.

The hotel's location was convenient to area attractions. Internet capability was available free to guests. The only problem we had was that there were never enough towels and we had to go to the desk daily to get more. Also, the beds are not the best.
I am somewhat likely
to return to the Comfort Suites.
I might recommend it to friends.

This is a horrible place. It was unclean, had a rude staff, and a scrooge-type owner. The toilets overflow and you have to clean up because they have no maintenance staff.
The elevator got stuck and lost power. The front desk rang our phone in the middle of the night for their own entertainment. The manager does nothing at all. Sleep at the Salvation Army, you'll be treated better.

This is a terrible hotel. We checked in on Wednesday and were out on Sunday. They had the wrong information on our reservations (address, etc) and tried to put is in a smoking room, although it was reserved for non-smoking.
The room was only cleaned once and we had to go to front desk if we wanted any supplies (towels, trash bags, coffee, etc). The housekeeping staff used the "Do not disturb" sign as reason to not clean our room, even though we had taken the sign with us when we left.
The toilet overflowed and they wouldn't send anyone to fix it. I had my 16 year old daughter come to front desk to get plunger to fix it herself. The elevator was scary, with lights flashing on and off a lot.
The rude front desk staff refused to allow us to speak to the manager, the manager refused to answer any calls and the owner, who was on the premises, refused to speak to us or set an appointment to see him.
They advertise 100% satisfaction guarantee in the room, but refuse to honor it. They refer us to the 1-800-4Choice number to deal with our complaints and they refer us back to the hotel. Where can we get anyone to help us with our complaints?

to return to the Comfort Suites.
