All Comfort Suites are now 100% non-smoking, so imagine our surprise when the hallway and room reeked of cigarette smoke. We very rarely ask for another room, but we did here.

The good: Free WiFi. Better than average free breakfast. In-room mini refrigerator and microwave.

The bad: As I said above, the hallway and first room reeked of cigarette smoke. Also, there were cigarette burn holes in the comforter and cigarette burns on the bathroom sink. One would think that when you advertise as 100% smoke free, you would make some attempt to remodel the rooms that were previously smoking rooms. We asked for and received a new room that was much better. The first room would rate a score of 1 or 2. The second about a 6. I averaged them for this review. The bed was below average. The parking area was unkempt.

If you decide to stay here and are assigned the second floor, ask for a lower numbered room. The numbers up to about 217 are nice. The numbers above that are like staying in an ashtray.

I was happy with the rooms and the location was convenient.

The wireless DSL was nice. The promised in-room mini refrigerator was not there and it took hours to locate one. There was no food at the location or within walking distance. The delivery food is of sub to average quality. The staff is friendly yet unaware why the elevators had expired licenses.

They treaded me as royalty.

It is a very nice property, but off the beaten track. There is not much else in the immediate area. It is very clean and the rooms are well appointed. The only complaint I would have is they try to rip you off for the room safe which is not included in the advertised rate.

The staff joked around like we were friends.
