I had called months ahead of time to see what places were available in Freeport for me and my husband to get away. I use Ebates and found Comfort Suites was listed with them so I could get points if I stayed there. This hotel looked good on paper and let me hold a room without a credit card when I first made reservations. I called back (a little skeptical about actually having a room without giving a card) and my reservation was nowhere to be found. I booked the room a second time and gave a card number to hold Saturday to Monday for our stay. When the woman was ready to hang up, she said she found our other reservation in the system. When we arrived on the Sunday, our reservation could not be found again! I told them that this was the 2nd time I had been told that our reservation could not be found and asked if there was a different way to look it us because it had happened before. They finally found our reservation placed under Friday to Sunday and said we were a day late. They put it in the system wrong and then the front desk blamed us for showing up the wrong day. I think I know what days I am traveling and they made no apologies for their mistake. I also told her how I had gone to Ebates and tried to reserve the room online (to get my points) and the system wouldn't let me. When I made the reservations on the phone the woman had said to ask about it when I checked in. She said she knew nothing about it. I asked her if there was anyone she could ask about it and she said, "NO" and refused to help me. We dropped the subject and didn't get upset.
Luckily, the room was still available and so we had a place to stay. The clerk told us to come through the front doors and then gave us this long list of directions. I asked if there was another entrance on the side that was shorter and she again snapped and said, "NO, COME THROUGH THE FRONT!" We got our bags and went through the lobby, down the hall, up the elevator and down another hall before getting to our room. The room was set up weird. There was a tub in the living room and a bed with TV in the other section. The tub was dirty and the bed was small. I had thought it was supposed to be a King bed and so my husband asked the clerk what size bed the room was supposed to have and she told him that it was supposed to be a queen and he was lucky to even get a room! We had controlled our temper with this woman but we had enough of her attitude. We were the ones that should have been upset. We were nothing but nice to her. My husband has a stressful job dealing with the public and doesn't go on vacation to deal with more ignorant people. We decided to call The Harraseeket and they had a cancellation and so they gave us a discounted rate if we stayed with them. We checked out of the Comfort Suites and went down the street. We will never go back to the Comfort Suites again. I have never been treated to badly! Upon leaving, we heard the clerk raising her voice to someone on the phone and it just confirmed that this would not have been a pleasant stay. I do thank the Comfort Suites for chasing us down the street where the staff at the Harraseeket were friendly and the Inn was clean and inviting! We ended up having a wonderful and relaxing weekend and will return to The Harraseeket next time we travel to Freeport =)

We booked a weekend almost two months in advance, they messed up the reservation twice. When we showed up they couldn't find us in the system. The overall attitude was such that we were a haslle. They finally found us in the system and had the reservations wrong again. After looking at the room and seeing the rather dirty jacuzzi tub that was oddly placed in the living room af the suite, and the queen bed that I could swear was a full, we wern't too keen on staying. After asking the front desk what the room was supposed to have, and being told abruptly that we were lucky they still had a room. My wife and I were outta there. Off-putting front desk service, and oddly overpriced rooms make this a place I wouldn't try again. Spend the extra couple bucks and goto the Harraseeket Inn down the street where you will be treated with professional service. I've had better service at a Motel 6 sadly.
