I was told that the hotel rooms were renovated in Jan 2008. Except for the shower nothing in the room looked very modern or new. The hot breakfast consisted of an egg dish and make your own waffle.
checked in late at night with no troubles and had a decent breakfast in the morning. the room had a nice flat screen tv which was easy to hook up my xbox to it....it...

The hotel was immaculate; rooms decorated very nicely and quiet. However management was redoing the rooms to upgrade the decor which surprised us we thought the rooms were quite nice as is. Our request for a room away from the elevator and ice machine was honored. There was a computer in the lobby which allowed us to check our mail and use Google. Local phone calls are free. The breakfast was great with both hot and cold choices; you could eat lean with yogurt, bagels, oatmeal/grits, fresh fruit or enjoy sausage patties, scrambled eggs(low fat style or real eggs), waffles you make yourself, mild or strong coffee, herbal tea or black tea, danishes, croissants, whole wheat bread and a choice of juices. Even though the breakfast room was full each day they never ran out of food. Coffee and tea was set out in the lobby 24 hours. Too boot the staff were gracious, more than willing to accommodate every request. We feel the staff are THE true example of southern hospitality. Our son is stationed at Fort Benning and the hotel is only a 10 minute drive away from the post and a three minute drive to Columbus airport. Surprisingly, you don't hear the planes. The fitness room has a few pieces of excellent equipment. We are particular people who travel a lot, and we give you our word for the price the value of this hotel has earned a 10 star and them some. We stayed three nights in December and will be returning. Our experience with Comfort Inns throughout the states is outstanding.

I called hotel directly to get rooms I wanted. Did not get what I was promised.
Their pool turned the 2 young girls with us hair green. Hotel said it was not their problem. Was charged for pillows they said was missing. Have been traveling
for 35 years from Hawaii to Florida & have never been accused of taking a thing. We even had to supply our own throw for sofa sleeper. Would never stay there again.
