We engaged 2 rooms. Both rooms were moderately clean. They were spacious but....we had roaches in our room and the bathroom fan roared everytime you turned the light on. The other room the ac would not work. The elevator stopped mid floors on...
36 year old female with a luxury budget, traveling for leisure
Our family stays in this hotel every year when we go to ride Thomas, and it has always been great. This year, however, we were placed on the third floor, which has been recently converted to non-smoking. The room reeked of cigarettes, and the window was opened, obviously to let the room air out. The clerk was unable to move us since the hotel was booked, so she reduced the rate by $10 per night, and my son had to take extra asthma medication. On the up side, the breakfast was wonderful as usual, and the room, though smoky, was clean. We will stay there again next year, but will request a first or second floor room. If you are a smoker, be sure to request the "recently converted non-smoking" third floor.
