Comfort Inn Wickliffe Hotel - Page 1

We seemed to have one mishap after another at this hotel.

After our air conditioner stopped working, we were transferred to another room over an hour later when the front desk clerk never came to fix the problem, at 10:00, mind you, dragging all our luggage and the roll-away up 2 flights of stairs with no help in sight.

The next morning, we headed down for breakfast at 9:05, and that morning they decided to switch breakfast times from 9:30 to 9:00. No communication to the guests. We won't be returning!

Our room had black mold in the bathroom ceiling as evidence from a previous leak from the floor above. The toilet did not flush properly. The air conditioning did not work at all. The front door slammed and hit me in the back of the heel. We wonder how clean the room really was. We will not stay there again.

We had a car trouble three miles from hotel. I called and I asked the clerk for the phone number of a towing service and she said she did not know and that she would call the police to come out and assist us. After thirty minutes we called back and we talked to different clerk and he did not know nothing about it and that he could not help us! So I had to call the emergency number and when the officer arrived he said the dispatcher gave the clerk the phone number! We sat on the highway about and hour longer than we needed to because two clerks did not communicate!

It was as good as any other similarly priced hotel.
