51 year old woman with a economy budget, traveling for leisure
Great location for Metro to DC. This hotel is great for sightseeing in Washington, DC. If you don't want to ride the shuttle to the Metro, you can drive to the Ballston Mall (which is about 5 minutes away) and park in the parking garage. Parking, at most, will cost you $8. We did this once because the shuttle wasn't coming back to pick us up until 5:00 and I wasn't going to be staying in DC that long. I wish that the rooms were a bit quieter and the staff spoke better English. On the plus side, they had a lifeguard at the swimming pool.

There were limited places here for dining. There was no hotel restaurant, without a car, we were limited to McDonald's next door. The hotel did have breakfast in the morning, which was good. The location was the biggest limiting factor, there were lots of shopping centers around, but all difficult to get to without a car.
