My experience there was decent, until I made the mistake of accidentally leaving my laptop in the room. As soon as I realized, I contacted them, they informed me they had it and would mail it right away. I gave them my credit card to charge shipping. I never received it, and made multiple calls inquiring about it and was always told to call either that evening, or the next morning, and multiple times was told I would receive a call back. The calls backs never occurred, and not once was anyone able to provide any assistance.
They eventually told me they did not have it, this being after they confirmed it was there, and told me they would file an insurance claim. The insurance claim was subsequently denied because no one at the hotel ever remembers speaking with me. In other words, no one wanted to lose their job.
The hotel itself was sub par, and the customer service the worst I have ever experienced, and I was staying there on gold club membership with Comfort Inn, I would hate to see how they treated their non-preferred customers. I would not suggest staying at this hotel, and if you do, lock up your valuables!!!

I had stayed there last year. It is convenient to the places I was going, the football stadiums at UNC and Duke. This year, however, the rate seemed rather high for the type of room.
The people at the reservation desk were very welcoming and polite.
I am very likely
to return to the Comfort Inn University.
I would definitely recommend it to friends.

It was in a convenient location but getting to the hotel was a bit difficult. I would recommend looking at who is staying there before you commit to staying there. They let anybody stay there. There was pot smoked in the room next to us and the hotel did nothing about it. The pull out couch bed was a bit uncomfortable and hard to use while the smell of the room was a bit interesting. I would recommend staying away from the main halls if you want to sleep. It is usually booked with school groups and young groups. It attracted a certain clientele that is to be desired. The price was not too shabby. Ask for all the discounts you can, you can usually get them to go lower than normal. The suite wasn't too shabby either.
