Horrible
If you book anytime soon ask that you are given a room in a part of the building that has been rehabbed. This is going to become a "Choice" hotel and it is a construction site. The halls were a mess, and my room smelled like paint and...
The Park East is very centrally located, and the roof view is great. Our experience was dampened by the leaky ceiling in the lobby & by the horrible key situation. Most guests had the same problem as us... we needed 8 keys for 3 different...
Will definitely stay here again!

Not flashy but functional. Works for me on business. Parking right outside door (open air deck) especially convenient if driving in or renting car. Consider the beer barons' suites for a touch of luxury and brew city history.

pros: inexpensive, great location, rooftop accessThis hotel is in beautiful East Milwaukee with a view of Lake Michigan. It is close to events and they provide a shuttle to the local events. It's also within walking distance of Summerfest grounds....
