50 year old female with a moderate budget, traveling for business
I stayed on the third floor. The room was a bit run down. One drawer was missing from the table. The towel rack in the bathroom was broken. The room smelt a bit musty. The air conditioning unit needs to be replaced with a more modern version. Overall, I was disappointed.

I called to make a reservation. The clerk said they were too busy to take my reservation. She suggested I make it online. I did make it online, but put in the wrong dates. When I received my confirmation I noticed the error and tried to cancel the reservation online. A notice appeared saying I needed to call customer service to cancel, and a phone number was provided. I called the number, only to be told I had to cancel online. Since this was impossible, I called the hotel direct. The first time they hung up on me, and the second time, I tried to explain my error, the clerk (Sheryl) stated that it was not their problem, but that it was my problem and I would be charged $79.00.
Would you stay at a place that treated you this way? I think not. So I called Marriott and stayed there.
We stayed in this hotel for a few weeks on a business trip. The very elegant foyer is a front for mediocre rooms and mediocre service. The bathrooms are old and need repairs. The evening front desk clerks were not attentive. My son cut himself...
My husband and I stayed one night at the hotel. It was clean, desk attendant was very nice, the bed and pillows were so comfortable, the bath was clean, no problems at all. Easy access to airport, we had a rental car to return before an early flight.
Room was ok, though the carpet was moist and it smelled like wet dog. Breakfast was bare minimum...have seen much better hotels for this price. The air conditioning was not working properly as well.
