It's an excellent and surprisingly sophisticated hotel in a small Midwestern city; the most 'hip' hotel environment by far for maybe hundreds of miles.
The Comfort Inn/ Springfield (the 'State House Inn') is a gem! An excellent renovation has made this inn a fun example of modern and retro design. The staff was exemplary. They included a full hot breakfast (much better than a bland continental breakfast at other places).
