I had qualms about staying at this place because we usually stay at 3 star hotels or better. Stayed here because it was blocked for a group we were in, and was pleasantly surprised. The rooms and bathrooms were recently remodeled, new carpet,...
Pros: Right off the 380, less than a mile from Hawkeye Downs. Efficient check-in/out. Tons of nearby restaurants, though predominantly fast-food fare. Most rooms equipped with a fridge, which was a bonus.
A/C unit rattled in one room while running, so i moved to another room. It rattled too. Oh well, got some sleep anyway. Went to work the next day then returned to my room later that day to find a gift on my table - a half empty bottle of liquor. ...
Great hotel overall. Good service. The staff is friendly and helpful. Very clean. Very soft pillows. My only complaint is no pool and I saw a couple ants.

Very spacious room/suite.“Rooms are very big, more less a suite then a room. Beds were very soft as were the pillows. Just felt like you melted in to the bed. You won't have any problem sleeping...
