Comfort Inn O'Fallon Hotel - Page 1

The staff upon arriving was nice (very deceiving). We were stopping for the night as a half way point for a family vacation. When we got up to our rooms, we realized that there was not what we had been promised (a pull out couch/sleeper couch) and instead we were given a crappy version of a cot. We needed 2 cribs, and they were the most unsafe things I've ever put my daughter in. She slept in my bed that night. It was terrible. There were NO pillowcases or towels (in either of our 2 rooms). We asked the front desk for them, and it took them 3 hours to get them to us. When we checked out and had left, we realized my brother in laws wallet was missing. Went back to check the room, and found nothing. We get a call later to find out that they had found the wallet in the room, minus $300 cash. The ONLY people who came in contact with the wallet would have been a maid or someone in management. When we decided to pick up the wallet while on our way through again a week later, the day before the pick up, we confirmed with the manager what time we would be there to get the wallet. We get there to find out that he isn't there (the wallet was in his personal safe) and wouldn't be in until 10 PM.

After we picked up the wallet, there had been 2 charges made on one of the credit cards, that we did not make. The staff tried using the cards to pay their cell phone bills.

Don't stay here, they'll rob you blind.

It’s an easy drive into St. Louis and has a very friendly staff.

This hotel made me feel welcome: We came to the hotel relatively late in the day, but the desk staff was prompt and friendly. The continental breakfast the next morning was warm and filling.
