We booked online, so just had to go by the reviews, pictures and location. Easy to find, reviews really did not give the hotel justice, very nice staff, although only one lady behind desk upon check in and several people waiting to check in (Good for them I guess) Room was very clean, and neat, beds slept very well, bathroom clean but could use an exhaust fan to keep moisture down in bathroom. Ask for a room that fronts Atlantic City- view at night is wonderful. Location is great--very close and easy to access the boardwalk and the beaches. We will return!! Price by the way was also good for the money!!
I am very likely
to return to the Comfort Inn North.
I would definitely recommend it to friends.

For our purpose it is an ideal location. We can find anything we want within five minutes travel. The staff is friendly and accommodating.
We were a large group and we rent an additional suite to use as a hospitality suite. The staff assisted us in stocking the room with drinks and food. We were given space away from other guests so as not to be disturbing them.

Stayed for one of two nights in August. At around 9 pm they had a power failure due to an accident down the road. Totally not their fault. Their backup generator only lasted for about 15 minutes, then all the lights went out. Not ONE emergency exit ...

I booked 5 rooms @ $135 each per night. As it turned out, the hotel required a govt Id to honor the rate. They ended up charging us $179 per night. The operator who booked me these rooms did not inform about the govt rate.

Hotel Exterior looks worn out and not well taken care of.
Lobby is dirty and dusty and smells musty.
Upon checkin found stained sheets, torn mattress, threadbare sheets, grimy comforter, stained wasclothes and towels. Ironing board but no iron. Stained ironing board. Bathroom vanity light did not work.
Carpet threadbare, matted and grimey.
Hairs in bathtub. Cigarette burn marks on bathtub and sink counter.
Dust and grime on coffee pot. Packages of in room coffee STUCK to sink counter.
Corridors smelled like body odor and garlic.
Called down to desk for clean sheets and iron and were switched to diferent room b/c clerk "did not have access" to extra sheets and/or iron. What????
Had to go to desk personally to retrieve key to new room-clerk did not offer to bring it up even though this was at 2 am and NO ONE was at desk. She told me to just leave key to the first room in that room, I didn't need to "bother" bringing it back down and that switching rooms was the "easiest solution".
New room was beeter only in the fact that it DID have an iron and the sheets didn't look or smell dirty. Bedspread was still gross.
Mattresses were obviously very old-lumpy, sunk down in places. Pillows were flat and smelled musty.
What looked like pubic hairs were stuck to side of bathtub.
Front desk clerks were rude and acted very put out to have to come to desk from the back office to help. Never heard a "ma'am", "thank you", "how may I help you". Was greeted only with "yes" or (at least twice) only raised eyebrows and an annoyed look.
Do yourself a favor and pay the extra $10-30 to stay at the Fairfield Inn or Hampton Inn just down the road.
The only positives were the location (conveniently off of Rte. 30 about 3 or 4 miles from downtown Atlantic City) and a pleasant and friedly room attendant.
This was the first time we ever stayed here. I must say the staff was very friendly. The bathrooms were clean. The only complaint I had was the beds, they were terrible. I told my Mother I would be more comfortable sleeping in the dresser drawer...
