New rooms with pillow-top mattresses. Hotel is steps away from the Pacific Ocean. Walking distance to historic Nye Beach and the Newport Performing Arts Center. Close to restaurants and bars overseeing the ocean. Five minutes to many attractions, including the Oregon Coast Aquarium, the Bayfront District, The Wax Works museum and the Yaquina Bay Lighthouse. Close to many recreational activities, such as golfing, fishing, crabbing, hiking, whale watching and biking.

My wife and I checked in at 11pm on the 17th of August and the front desk clerk was extremely pleasant and helful with info about local attractions. Her name was Janice and she was the only nice employee that we dealt with.

The room was very small and cramped, but everything was clean and service was great. They serve a hot complimentary breakfast, and it was in a good location.
