Comfort Inn Mesquite Hotel - Page 1

This hotel is in very poor maintenance and was very dirty. some examples: neither the sink nor the bath tub had drain stoppers; there were rusted out screws in the doors/walls; both top mattresses were extremely worn; the box spring was split at the seams; the pillows were very worn and flat; the blanket had holes in it, the toilet had dried urine on it; the refrigerator had an empty liquor bottle in it; the carpet was extremely worn and dirty; the indoor pool was extremely cold, enough to potentially cause hypothermia if stayed in too long; the walls in the pool area are covered in mildew and mold and plastic piping was left out in the walkway along with a power saw with blade attached. The breakfast room chairs were either broken or falling apart. The hotel pictures do not represent current hotel condition and are misleading. This is not what is expected from a Comfort Inn. Don't get me wrong--I don't expect marble floors and counters and down pillows, etc., but i do expect a clean and properly maintained facility. I am very disappointed I chose this hotel to stay at and won't stay there again--I expect more from Choice Hotels.

The desk clerk frightened my kids with the 6 " fingernails. The first room had a fluorescent light that buzzed and flickered, half the lights were burnt out, someone had drawn all over the wall paper, the furniture was cheesy, the bedding uncomfortable. All this at a price that was not even particularly good. I wouldn't recommend it to anyone.
