Location was convenient to the university.Room and hotel hallways smelled musty. This hotel is great for business travel and families looking for a night or two stay. The hotel was clean and functional, but not what could be described as upscale....

When we have a problem with our room they moved us immediately.The third floor smelled like cigarette smoke so severely it came into the room. I was disappointed, I thought the hotel was much closer to the Aquarium and downtown.

Price.Old, dated feel - musty smell. Not a bad place to stay if you can get it for cheap. The rooms are older, there was a bit of a musty smell but, the staff was great.

Nothing.It was not near the water, as was suggested in the description. This hotel purported to be conveniently located to Monterey, the aquarium and the water. It was none of the above. It was at the junction of a highway, next to a Wal-Mart....

Clean and close to destination.The shower water was hard. The room was furnished with everything. The hotel was also placed close enough to our destination to make commuting easy.
