Comfort Inn Maingate Motel

10 of us checked in using up 3 rooms for 3 nights for our Disneyland stay. First thing we notice in our room it was lacking supplies. No Tissue in either room (we had a double room with the bunk bed for the kids). They didn't restock shampoo and such in my Sister and her family's room after the 1st night. And last of all my Wife and I had forgotten to grab our camera case with our camera chips in it. So we called a few hours later after check out to get them to hold em for us. No one seemed to know what were talking about. Maids cleaned the room and found nothing. Now I know someone's lying. That was over 700 Pictures of my Family. Irreplaceable......Gone. What does it mean to whoever took it...nothing but a new chip for their camera needless to say i am livid about my whole exp with this Motel and I will never return and beware to those that do. This has ruined my trip and experience.

The price is on the target for what you receive. You get what you pay for, nothing more or less.

We had a somewhat disappointing stay. We loved the set up, a regular room with a kid's room attached. The location was excellent as well. However, there were two main problems. The TV was not working in the kids' room and despite requests, no attempt was made to repair or replace. The route to the room took us through the breezeway that the housekeeping staff operated from, and it was almost always cluttered with their carts, making trips to and from the parking lot inconvenient.

My wife and I visit Disneyland quite often and this is one of the hotels that we commonly stay in. The competitive prices make this hotel stand out.

This hotel is a few blocks from Disneyland walking is possible, but it would be a stretch. They do provide a shuttle as well.

We were quickly checked in and moved our stuff into room 145. We quickly realized there was something wrong with the toilet, so we were moved without issue into room 148. This room had a lamp that was burnt out, but otherwise it was in good condition. The refrigerator and television worked with no issues.

Since our last visit, they have improved their breakfast. They now offer self-made Belgium waffles, eggs, toast, cereal and different juices. The Belgium waffles were a nice change.

Overall, there is a reason why my wife and I choose this hotel. It is a good value hotel that allows you to spend you money at more important things but still feel safe leaving your car parked outside. There are plenty of restaurants nearby to give you enough choices. We will continue to frequent this hotel.

The staff failed to switch us to the room we had reserved because they claimed them to be full. They also failed to contact a manager despite a sign posted stating a manager was on duty twenty-four by seven. There was no manager on the premises. No compensation was provided for us for their error. I was extremely disappointed on how it was handled.
