Unsafe and unsecure !! – Posted Mar 01, 2009

Mediocre

During our stay at this hotel, the room we were in was left UNSECURED by the maids! After returning from breakfast late in the morning, the room door was propped open with a towel and when we asked the maids who were six rooms away, they said the...

Really nice place... – Posted Aug 11, 2008

Excellent

We really enjoyed our stay at Comfort Inn Maggie Valley. The hotel was very clean, and the lady at the front desk was very friendly. The continental breakfast was pretty good (waffles, cereal, muffins, etc.). But, hey, it's free, so who's ...

Do not stay in room 135 – Posted Jun 01, 2008

Horrible

Do not stay in room 135. It is next to the main road, and you can hear the road noise all night long.

But that was not the big problem. I had noisy people next to me blaring the tv. And they did not turn it off. TV was on all night...

Good
63 year old female with a economy budget, traveling for leisure

I got very sick. The staff was outstanding arranging for an ambulance and making follow up calls to make sure I was ok. After we got home the attendant wrote to ask how I was.

I am very likely to return to the Comfort Inn Maggie Valley.
I would definitely recommend it to friends.

Attendent at checkin was rude- insisted – Posted Sep 04, 2007

Horrible

Attendent at checkin was rude- insisted that I had not made my reservation for four adults when I had (the clerk had even asked about my mother-in-law needing a first floor room when reservation was made). Checkin lady made several condescending...

Good, but poor room service – Posted Jul 25, 2007

Good

The free breakfast is wonderful! The price is the best one we found. The location is perfect. It's close to the action, but yet not in the crowds. The front desk staff was very nice. The only complaint is that the whole time we were there,...

This motel overall was a pleasent stay. – Posted Jun 11, 2007

Good

This motel overall was a pleasent stay. I could tell it was a little aged but I give them credit, they were trying to spruce it up by painting the exterior. Which was really the biggest problem during our stay, and this is one of those flukes,...

Good

The room was very nice and clean. The bathroom was well maintained. The location was terrific. The only negative thing was the front desk person. We asked for a first floor room and she said they were booked. She had approximately 20 reservations...

Good
39 year old female with a moderate budget, traveling for leisure

The pool setting was beautiful. The view of the mountains was beautiful. The gardens surrounding the hotel were beautiful. However, looking down out of the back of the hotel from our room window, the view was of an open garage that looked like someone was living in it. There was lots of junk including a bathtub in it. It was an eyesore, but that was not the fault of the hotel.

I am very likely to return to the Comfort Inn Maggie Valley.
I would definitely recommend it to friends.
