Comfort Inn Los Angeles Motel

I was surprised that this location had rooms open to the outside instead of a central corridor. The staff was friendly, the breakfast was good, but crowded, the pool was very busy and the weather was hot.

The location for downtown Los Angeles was great. The neighborhood left something to be desired but there were no problems. The hotel was very well maintained and serviced.

It was fine and I would stay there again.

The location was good for downtown LA. My room was nice. The floor was dirty.

After checking in I discovered that my room was very dark. One of the bedside lamps was missing and one of the light bulbs was burned out. I called the front desk more that once and I talked to them in person asking for more light. They assured me that they would take care of it and it never happened. The room could have been cleaner, especially the bathroom. There were no wash clothes or hand towels when I checked in, but the next day when they cleaned the room they were there.
