We stayed in April and found it to be hidden gem. The rates were reasonable the pool was warm, the continental breakfast had many choices, and their staff was great.

The Comfort Inn hotels are usually our choice for lodging when vacationing. They are comfortable, well priced and they offer a membership. Therefore we are able to gain points toward free rooms. The staff is well versed in the area we are staying and the free breakfasts are great!
We were greeted well by the staff at the desk. Our reservation was confirmed in a matter of moments. All the staff was friendly and they met our needs.
I am very likely
to return to the Comfort Inn Lake Placid.

Quick weekend to see Santa's Workshop in Wilmington. Lots to do and see. Wish we had more time to explore. The room was clean. Easy access to the pool and breakfast areas. Felt secure.
Very little of this excellent Lake Placid hotel can be seen from the street. The main building surrounds a central courtyard featuring a swimming pool and wonderful kitchen buffet facilities. A second building offers a little more formal facilities...
