Comfort Inn Lake Buena Vista Hotel

Some of the reviews that I had read about this place almost made me cancel my reservation. There are no coch roaches in the place as some people had wrote. I found the rooms very clean and comfortable. My only problem with the room was that I had to get my toilet plunged twice as it nearly overflowed. The staff is very friendly and welcoming. The security is great and have a good sense of humor. I did not care for the boardwalk buffet. The food was horrible. Another problem that I had with the place was the lounge. The bartender does not know how to make very many drinks. Unless you are looking for a beer or rum and coke I suggest you go to a real lounge. The bartender got a little smart alex with me. You can order internet on your television but it is very poor quality and you cannot read anything one it, I would not suggest taking this option. Otherwise this is a great place to stay. Housekeeping does a great job and are willing to work around your schedule. If you do not want service they will bring you towels if you ask them. I would definitly stay in this place again. They are a 3 star motel. The pool is very roomy and clean, the kids loved it. It is close to the parks and they offer shuttle though it would have been nicer if they added a few more shuttles. I would reccomend the place to my friends and family.

This hotel was by far the worst that I have EVER stayed in. The internet made it look much better than it was. The room was very tiny, dirty & disgusting! Major fire hazards. The 2nd night we were there the main light switch when we turned it on started popping & crackling & sparks flew. We could not use it. When we told the front desk, nothing was done. There were no covers on the outlets & the outlet in the kids sleep area had a prong sticking out of it like someone plugged something in & then it got broke off in the outlet. Talk about dangerous! The carpet was dirty & hair all over the blankets on the beds & in the shower & bathroom floor. I will NEVER stay at this place again. The breakfast was just ok- we never had the buffet. The lines for the breakfast & to get seated were forever. The entire hotel needs a paint job & major repairs & updates- YUCK!!!

Best choice I could have made. Great location. reasonably priced, clean and comfortable rooms. I'd cetrainly recommend this to others planning to travel.

The only piece of advice I can offer about this hotel is to stay away. A lot of the rooms face the I4 (A large and very busy freeway) so if your planning on a quiet night you won't get it here. The room I stayed in was filthy. The carpets were stained, there was hair everywhere, the drain for the bath/shower was blocked and the room looked like it should have been remodeled sometime in the 70s. The desk staff were not particularly helpful and the breakfast was pretty dire. If your in Orlando for Disney, there are better hotels in the area - the budget Disney resorts offer a much better experience and there are many other chain motels near this Comfort Inn which would be a better choice.

To sum up, go somewhere else!!

Every Easter Break starting with 2001, we've stayed at Comfort Inn Lake Buena Vista with a group of high school students. The staff has always been very friendly and understanding. (Most of our students have never even been on a family vacation, much less an overnight field trip!) The guard always recognizes us in our "yellow limo" a.k.a. school bus. The rooms have mini fridges and microwaves (terrific for kids on a limited budget who can't afford to eat many meals in the amusement parks $$$). The rooms have always been clean. Having the sink located outside the room with the shower and toilet makes it easier for four high school students in the same room to get ready. The students always make good use of the irons and ironing boards as well. The only negative is not really associated with Comfort Inn, but with their shuttle service provider to WDW, Universal, etc. The shuttle company needs to run more buses during the parks' peak seasons. Comfort Inn Lake Buena Vista is a terrific bang for the buck!
