Comfort Inn Helena Hotel

When I checked in, I booked for three nights at about $66 a night. Pretty good deal for a hotel with big rooms, a pool and a spa. But, after my first night, while I was changing for a business meeting, a man with a suitcase in his hand walked into my room and saw me completely naked from the waist down. He humbly and politely excused himself while I recovered from the shock. I called the front desk to complain and forgave the woman there too easily, thinking that it must have been an honest mistake.

But the next day, the key to my room didn't work. I went to the front desk to complain and the same woman who I'd spoken to before asked me to leave my room, despite the fact that I'd already paid for a third night. I refused to be bullied, so she harassed me, exploded in a fit of rage and called me a liar, saying that I had checked out already. I walked away from the confrontation and I told her I was going to report her to corporate, which I did. I promptly checked out at 9 AM the next morning, finishing the rest of my business at the Super 8 Motel in town for $15 a night cheaper - and with a much friendlier hotel staff. Because of this experience, I will never be staying at a Comfort Inn ever again, and I strongly suggest you pass on them as well.

The restaurant was under renovation. But, otherwise, their service and their friendliness were really great. It was also fairly easy to find being right off the freeway. But the turns involved got a bit difficult after dark.

This hotel is not outstanding or substandard in any way. It was just another generic 'room for rent' hotel.

We were very pleased with our accommodations. Everyone at the hotel was very friendly and helpful.
