Normally Comfort Inns are clean and comfortable, not this one. Very dirty and rather dangerous since the smoke alarm in the room was disconnected and when you called the front desk it showed you were calling from a different room. No offer to remedy the problem so I simply checked out after about 15 minutes in the room. Lamps tore up, peeling paint in the bathroom, along with a couple of hairs in the tub that were not from me. YUCK!

The rooms and bathroom were not very clean. The TV didn't get but a few channels. It wasn't very comfortable.

Never again, we should have been given a clue when the front person appeared from the back, he was nasty, had long greasy hair, and a dirty penned-on vest.
The room had ants and roaches, the carpet had not been vacuumed, there was no toilet paper on the roller, and the door hanger was torn off the bathroom door.
When we reported this to the day manager he said he could not do anything because we had paid in cash.

The location of the hotel was a little bit farther away from other attractions than I would have preferred. The staff was very friendly. I believe this hotel should have been closed down after the hurricanes. It was not up to standard and gave me a bad feeling about Comfort Inn's judgment. I figured since the hotel was open, it must be in good working order, but I was wrong. We found roaches, dampness, and the appearance of the rooms was not acceptable. I wish they had just closed the hotel to save us this bad experience.
