This hotel is a great buy! Friendly helpful staff, safe area, clean comfortable rooms, inexpensive bus service to the 42nd street terminal in Manhattan ($3.80) and a breathtaking view across the water of Manhattan by night. Better than mid-town...

58 year old male with a moderate budget, traveling for leisure
The rooms seem to be damp all the time. The air conditioning and heating unit was difficult to control. The breakfast selection was poor and the eating facility was small. The room keys had to be programmed every day and sometimes more often. The staff was always helpful.
I am somewhat likely
to return to the Comfort Inn Edgewater.
I might recommend it to friends.
