We got to the hotel and parked in the lot where they had a security guard. We used the restroom that was downstairs. It was pretty beat up and appeared dirty. There were cigarette burns on the toilet seats! We reserved a smoking room, however the whole hotel is non-smoking. We then proceeded up to our room.
It was in good condition. It could have been a little cleaner, but it wasn't dirty. We had no towels in the restroom and had to go to the front desk to get them. Being there for the Steelers, Browns game and coming in all decked out in Steelers gear, the staff was pretty nice. Nicer than they sounded over the phone! We went out for a cigarette, and a drunk guy from Cleveland came up to me and started bothering me. A man that was in the lobby came out and instructed the drunk man to leave the property and to quit bothering his guests. (Not sure if this man worked here or not!) He was "acting like" he was radioing the front desk. He was a very nice man.
The bed was pretty comfortable. The shower hardly had any water pressure, but it was running water. I dropped something behind the dresser and when we tried to move it the top of the dresser came off of the rest, but was fixable. Their breakfast was wonderful, although there is only one toaster and one waffle maker. And the milk was not kept cold, it was left sitting out on the counter. Overall, the hotel was pretty good for the price we paid. If I come to another Steeler game in Cleveland, I might stay here again!
