Comfort Inn Cromwell Hotel

It is in a great location just off the highway and only a few minutes away from the best diner in Connecticut. The staff is homey and friendly.

This hotel made me feel relaxed: They provided me with a nice large room that warmed up quickly. The bed was softer than I expected. I recognized the desk clerk from a previous stay and he treated me very friendly.

Even though the hotel has made some improvements lately, the bathrooms are still somewhat rundown, the tubs need better shower heads and the swing out shower rods. Most importantly, the room needs more and brighter lights. This room is not really set up for using a laptop or reading or relaxing.

The location was perfect for our needs. The hotel was under repair and the elevator was not working. We should have been made aware of this before arrival. The desk clerk only found a first floor room after I threatened to check into the motel across the street.

Everything was fine.

The motel was convenient and well-appointed. The service desk met our needs for check-in. The weekend was difficult for getting rooms on short notice, and this place had more room than we needed.

This hotel made me feel practical: They provided us with a coffee machine and television. The coat hangers and bathrooms were good.
