Comfort Inn Columbus Hotel - Page 2

My feeling about most motels is that they are just a place to sleep. We usually do not take much advantage of extra features (pool, exercise room etc.) We want a clean, comfortable motel. Most of my nights are for business in Bermuda, at a location that is business-paid. The remainder are with my family, mostly in July with my granddaughter in PA. We select the most affordable, in a safe place close to locations that we are interested in, and in a family-owned cottage operation in Aaronsburg, PA.

We got the 2nd to last room in the hotel as people were jamming the phone lines looking for a place to stay. We didn't really know what to expect but we were pleased in every way. They far exceeded our expectations.

This hotel made me feel important: We were fleeing hurricane Ivan and the people were extremely understanding and friendly to all of us who fled the hurricane and filled every room they had. They allowed us to bring our pets, too.

This hotel made me feel content: I feel content there because there were wash sheets, comforters and blankets daily. They washed down the phones and remotes including the door knobs.
