The check-in person was a GREAT guy! He was very talkative and friendly and was sure to point out all the amenities of the room. There were signs posted that the hotel was a non-smoking facility, but the room we stayed in smelled of old cigarettes. It was basically clean, but the smell was bad. The outside of the hotel was nice, but the inside left a lot to be desired. The water in the "inside, heated pool" was very cloudy and had a film across the top of it. You couldn't even see the bottom of the pool. The "gym" looked okay and it had 2 exercise machines in it, but we didn't try it out. The stairs were uncarpeted and looked old. The only part of the hotel that looked updated was the front lobby area. They do offer breakfast, and it was being served when we left. Since we didn't eat breakfast, I can't comment on it, but they did have a separate room for that. Even though the person checking us in and the person checking us out were very nice and very friendly, I would never stay in this hotel again because of the room and pool conditions.

Stayed in this hotel twice, Sept'05 and May '06. The first stay that I had with them was very nice. The staff was very friendly and helpful.
The room was very good and the continental breakfast was quite a nice surprise. I was really impressed the place. The second time was quite another story. Although the room and breakfast was still quite nice, the staff members who were there the first time were no longer there.
I kind of missed them because the ones that they replaced them with were not as friendly and helpful.

I had to use a cane to walk and I was in a great deal of pain. They put me on the top floor all the way down the hall even after seeing that I was in pain. They were not very handicap friendly. I chose them for their pool for my nephews to swim during the day and I told them that and they put me as far as I could be. I will not go back.

I requested a non-smoking room and although there was a sign on the door stating it was non-smoking, it had an adjoining door in the room to a smoking room and the room stunk of smoke. The manager would not work to resolve our issue.
