The check-in person was a GREAT guy! He was very talkative and friendly and was sure to point out all the amenities of the room. There were signs posted that the hotel was a non-smoking facility, but the room we stayed in smelled of old cigarettes

Stayed in this hotel twice, Sept'05 and May '06. The first stay that I had with them was very nice. The staff was very friendly and helpful.
The room was very good and the continental breakfast was quite a nice surprise. I was really impressed the place. The second time was quite another story. Although the room and breakfast was still quite nice, the staff members who were there the first time were no longer there.
I kind of missed them because the ones that they replaced them with were not as friendly and helpful.

I requested a non-smoking room and although there was a sign on the door stating it was non-smoking, it had an adjoining door in the room to a smoking room and the room stunk of smoke. The manager would not work to resolve our issue.
