Overall not bad but not ideal. Good news is the price, onsite laundry, friendly staff, free shuttle service, parking and some breakfast. Bad news is the rooms are worn out and small, outdoor pool doesn't get opened readily, and the area is sometimes uncomfortable. I wouldn't travel here alone.

I was disappointed in my selection of a hotel. I used priceline to get a good deal on a hotel and entered in I was willing to stay in South Boston and this hotel came up. It lists its address as Boston but it's actually located in Dorchester (a Boston suburb). Their website said that the local T station was only 1.5 miles away but it's actually 2.1 miles by foot or car (read the small print). We arrived at 10 a.m. on a Saturday and was hoping to take the shuttle to the T station to catch the T into Boston. We waited for 10 minutes and when the shuttle arrived it said it only had 2 available seats. Well there were 20 people waiting. The driver said the next shuttle would be in 20 minutes and again would only fit 12 people. The shuttles service both the Comfort Inn and the Ramada. So when it looked like we would never get to the station before noon I asked the man at the front desk how far the T station was and if it was walkable (keep in mind I have small children who were with me). He said it was only about 3/4 of a mile down the road and it was walkable. So we decided to walk. Well it was quite a long walk and when I clocked it with my car the next day I found out it was actually 2.1 miles away and the walk involved walking through parking lots (again I have small children). Needless to say we ended up driving into Boston every day since the shuttle service was a nightmare, not convenient at all.
The hotel is also not located in a great place. When you check in they give you a hand out that says they have had recent car break-ins and to remove all electronics from your vehicle. They even go as far to say to clean the area were your GPS suctions onto your window so the potential thief doesn't realize you have a GPS. It surely didn't leave us with the warm and fuzzys.
The train also runs directly behind the hotel so avoid getting a room on the backside of the hotel. We stayed in one on the front side facing the parking lot so I'm not sure how much the train is heard from within one of the backside rooms.
It's a very small hotel with not a lot of amenities. I surely didn't pay a lot but I guess sometimes you get what you pay for.

We only needed to stay one night as we had an international flight the next day. The shuttle driver was prompt, the front desk was very helpful and friendly. Although the rooms could use a little bit of updating and they were somewhat small, they

Excellent
Shuttle services to Boston Convention Center and the airport. It would be even better if they provide free internet services.“A very nice place staying for business travel...
This hotel has basic furnishings but a few extra amenities and is well-situated with local businesses and offerings. The hotel has a free shuttle to Logan Airport and the public transportation in the area, free wifi throughout the hotel, three restaurants nearby and a bowling alley/billiards/game room right across the parking lot (parking is free, which is a very nice perk). Fitness center and outdoor pool also available for guest use. Continental breakfast is also included in room price. Easy access to both Boston and Cambridge and the sightseeing and points of interest in both cities.
