Nice hotel. Close to downtown and the ferrys. Nice breakfest. Nice view of the lake from room. Room is clean. Would stay there again. Price was great for the August 5 to the 8. Only $89.99 a night - internet price.

Okay, but could be better. If you are looking for a hotel that is close to everything, this is your place. However, we were very disappointed with our room. The curtains and chairs were very stained, the toilet was not cleaned very well, and I don't think the carpet had been vacuumed. We also had a weird smell that we noticed when we walked in that never seemed to go away. Also the railing on our balcony had screws that had fallen or were falling out! (very unsafe if you have little ones) The staff was great though, very personable and willing to get you anything you needed. The pool was nicely kept up and most of the grounds were kept clean. There is a nice beach with lounge chairs if you want to sit or swim in the water, and there is a small play area for kids. During our 3 days there, it was quiet the whole time except for a few door slams. It is an okay hotel, but I will probably stay at a different hotel the next time I am in St. Ignace.
I am not likely
to return to the Comfort Inn Beachside.
I would not recommend it to friends.

The hotel was very conveniently located right on the main road with balcony views of the lake. The room was very comfortable with proper ventilation. The room service was very good in keeping the room clean, beds made, and fresh linens stocked every day.
