Great location for Metro to DC. This hotel is great for sightseeing in Washington, DC. If you don't want to ride the shuttle to the Metro, you can drive to the Ballston Mall (which is about 5 minutes away) and park in the parking garage. Parking, at most, will cost you $8. We did this once because the shuttle wasn't coming back to pick us up until 5:00 and I wasn't going to be staying in DC that long. I wish that the rooms were a bit quieter and the staff spoke better English. On the plus side, they had a lifeguard at the swimming pool.

Okay
This hotel was average. However, by Washington standards, it was a fairly inexpensive place to stay. I felt pretty safe and it was convenient to the Metro making it convenient to the rest of D.C.

We were in Va for my parents inurnment at Arlington National Cementary. The staff assisted us in finding resturants and getting to the cementary and getting to other places of interest. They were very knowledgeable of the surrounding areas.
