39 year old female with a luxury budget, traveling for leisure
We stayed one night after staying in a Holiday inn express the night before. They were comparable. Our room was big and the bed was very comfortable. All of the accomodations were very nice too. It's within walking distance to the bar at the holiday inn next door, and 0.2 miles to the Alton Sports Tap which has good food. The desk clerk that checked us out wasn't very helpful but otherwise, the other employees were. Overall, good value for the money.

They charge a reasonable price for this hotel. However, the official website should allow needs requests to be sent with the reservation versus needing to call the hotel directly to make needs known. I was traveling with my mom who is in a wheelchair and if I hadn't called directly to the hotel we wouldn't have been placed in a handicap accessible room, even though it was noted on their website when making the reservation.
I am somewhat likely
to return to the Comfort Inn Alton.
I might recommend it to friends.

It was basically pretty good. The only problem was that they booked our room to someone else after we had just checked in. The other people were really embarrassed when they walked in on us.
