32 year old female with a luxury budget, traveling for business
I booked a stay at this hotel through its website, and let's just say that the pictures don't do it justice. And I mean that in the worst way possible.
First of all, I was obviously a single female traveler. While there were four somewhat shady looking men standing around the desk, the clerk behind the counter practically yelled, "OK, so you're in room 213, that's up one flight, right next to the stairs." Um, thanks?
So I went up there, and was immediately hit by a wave of disinfectant odor. The irony was that nothing in the room was clean. There was a wall of mirrors behind the bed (classy), ripped upholstery on the window seat and desk chair, crumbs and dirt all over the floor, and a toilet that wouldn't flush. I wasn't even in the room for five minutes before I walked out the door and checked into the hotel next door.
Interestingly, as I was walking down the hall, one of the shady men was outside my door and asked me if I found my room OK.
Don't waste your time and money, this hotel is not acceptable.
52 year old female with a moderate budget, traveling for business
There are plenty of restaurants nearby. I had a nice size room, it was clean and quiet. The staff is knowledgeable about the area, and they were willing to give directions and knew how long would take to get there. It wasn't what I expected for an expensive motel, but it was much better than most in that price range.
