46 year old with a moderate budget, traveling for leisure
I absolutely loved the logistics of this property, that's the win for me. It's close to the Seawall, which I love and shopping, which I also love. I travelled with my two dogs on this occassion, which we don't typically do in Vancouver. However, we had a very nice room and the staff was very friendly and made us feel very welcome. The Coast Plaza staff was very informative and friendly. I would definitely stay here again and recommend it to a friend.

Okay
Usually when I'm choosing a hotel, I look at the pictures first. I want to see what the room's going to look like, and the general feel of the hotel will be. Now, I understand that they touch-up the pictures before posting them - that's basic...
Location wins, not much else.

Okay
The place was clean and respectable enough, but had the time-machine to the 70s feel. Staff seemed confused at times and couldn't explain certain features of the hotel. The indepedent gym (attached but not part of) the hotel was a joke. It was ...

Okay
As I was leaving the hotel one evening during a four-night stay, I heard another guest say to his companion, "This is a very ordinary hotel." That really sums it up. It's a good value for the location, but the hotel's public areas, the room...
