Club Quarters Rockefeller Center

This is a nice hotel with a nice location.

I enjoyed the Italian restaurant in this hotel. Try their pizza; it is fantastic and is recommended by Charlie Trotter, Chicago celebrity chef.

The rooms are small but since I am single, I didn't care.

The biggest complaint I have is the parking..it sux. The garage that the hotel recommends is a block away from the hotel. There is a garage right next to the hotel, but the discount rate apparently doesn't apply.

Our stay at club quarters was the worst, we always go to Chicago, and we love the city, and there's lots to do, lots to eat, but the hotel room was tiny. A maximum of two people fit in the queen room we had. There are only two elevators, and we waited a long time for them. We had to pay $74 dollars to park there for two nights, and service was very unprofessional. We are not picky people at all, we stay were we can afford, but this hotel was not a 3 and 1/2 star hotel by any means. Even to get ice for your room was unbelievable, and after talking with other guests we all agreed we would never stay at this hotel again.

The room was very small, but we only paid ninety dollars at this downtown location, so we did not mind. We were hardly in the room anyway. The problem that I had was that the wireless connection in our room would not work. We called the front desk, but the person they connected us to could not help. So we had to go downstairs and use their computers. The front desk person was helpful in providing maps. Overall, I really liked the affordability and the downtown location. I would certainly recommend it to budget conscious travelers.

This hotel made me feel secure: I was secure in knowing that the front desk person was so knowledgeable and willing to help with our needs. I also valued the safety and security aspect of the hotel because downtown locations definitely need to have that element. No one could walk in without practically walking right up to the front desk, and the elevators were accessed by room key cards.
