The hotel staff was very friendly and helpful. The location was perfect for the produce convention. We only had to walk 5 blocks down the street to get to where we were going. When we first checked in, our wireless and DSL internet was not working and we were right next to the elevator so it was very loud.

The manager at the front, Brittney I think or Courtney, was very kind and was a great hostess during my companies stay. She was very knowledgeable of downtown and helped us with a ride to and from the produce convention.

Nice............. This hotel property offers both regular hotel rooms and apartment-style units to its guests. The hotel is centrally located in the heart of downtown Houston and it's within walking distance to convention center. I have initially reserved for a regular hotel room, but I was told that the staff overbooked the rooms so that the hotel provided me with an one-bedroom apartment suite for my one-week stay. The apartment suites are located in the same building as the hotel, but the suites are much nicer and more spacious than hotel rooms. The suites have contemporary decor and are equipped with brand new kitchenware and top appliances, such as plasma TV and DVD. I would highly recommend getting the one bedroom unit instead of the regular hotel room.
