The hotel presence was terrible and none of the amenities listed online or in the magazine were correct. Half the building is cut off in construction, there was no pool and they lied about being pet friendly like they say in the magazine. I brought my dog all the way from Dallas and was told to get him out by midnight, which was very inconsiderate especially since I knew nothing about Des Moines and was not going to let my dog out on the street! I will not stay there again and shortly after the event, I rented out an apartment! The only great thing about this place is that is cheap! Otherwise it is terrible, you have to buy your own toilet paper, and clean your own room.

I would never choose another hotel. One year we could not get into the hotel because it was booked. We ended up staying in the Days Inn and it was horrible. This will be our 5th year staying in this hotel. I like this hotel a lot.

They were very nice when my sister and I checked in, they were very friendly.

My last visit there was to go shopping with birthday money--my husband watched football and then we ate in their restaurant.

The staff was on hand to answers questions.

They were always available for my needs and my requests with things such as little bottles of shampoo, etc.

I made reservations for a room with two beds. When we arrived, they only had a room with 1 bed and told me I would have to spend an extra $10 to get a rollaway bed for my son. I told them this was unacceptable.
