Clinton Hotel South Beach

I stay in a lot of hotels. Any time the hotel is not your standard cookie cutter hotel, I tend to like them.

The hotel is hip. It is not for the person that wants to be isolated. It is a lively place.

The rooms were nice. The beds were very comfortable. I liked the bathroom, shower and products.

The spa is a little different than your normal spa. It was nice and you can get a massage by the pool. The pool and pool area is not very large but it fits the size of the hotel.

I would recommend this hotel. Have fun.

This is hardly a "Resort and Spa", but it's not bad for the area provided you don't like to sleep. I stayed three nights and all three nights hoodlums stayed out all night drinking and screaming by the pool. My first inkling of a problem should have been the snack tray in the room that also includes ear plugs (for a small fee of $4.50). The room is clean and the staff is helpful. The rooms are very noisy (who puts hard floors in a hotel?) so you know what your neighbors are doing at all times. I ate at hotel restaurant (called 8 1/2) and it was wonderful, but overpriced. For the price I paid you can do better by moving farther north on the beach. I can't recommend this hotel.

I loved the decor! The staff was pleasant and accommodating and the outdoor restaurant and bar was wonderful!

It's in a good location. But the rooms are smaller than presented online and the lobby is not as nice as presented online. The room we stayed in was right above the entrance door and the window was blocked. Even though we asked to be moved, we did not receive any help. Overall, I would stay there again if I could not find anything nicer for a reasonable price for that location. It had a nice bathroom and television. It also had a CD player in the room but we did not use it.
