This hotel is one half mile from the Moscone Convention Center and Nob Hill. Both Transamerica Pyramid and AT&T Park are one mile away. Hotel Features. The eclectic collection of this hotel's modern furnishings provide a drastic difference from its classic Italian Renaissance exterior, originally constructed in 1913. In a great location for San Francisco's theatres, jazz clubs and shopping, this is a modern and luxurious place to stay. The rooms are spacious and elegantly decorated, with floor to ceiling mirrors and the best ammenities I have ever seen. There is a 24 hour business center and also a business lounge, where you can cath up on the days news on tv or newspaper. The restaurant is distinctly cool, perhap a little too cool on the service ocassionaly but it serves delicious food in a great setting. The Redwood Room is a glamorous and modern hotel bar and there's also a living room, located just off the main lobby, which is a lovely area to sit and chat or read. There's an excellent 24 hour gym, with personal trainers available on request as well as massage and spa facilities, again available on request. The staff are friendly and helpful and the Concierge staff will help you out with almost everything!

26 year old with a luxury budget, traveling for business
This hotel is definitely one of the trendy, chic hotel geared for younger age group. It is located not too far from the Union Square and the theratre districts (merely 10 mins. walk). The lobby and common areas have some interesting decor that's worth checking out.
The room was a bit smaller in size compare to the other hotels in the area. However the bed was comfortable. The fridge and bar in the room was very well stocked with snack and ample supply of alcohol. The bar was very busy but has nice atmostphere. Overall had a fairly good stay at this hotel. The price was reasonable as well.
