Booking here was the biggest mistake do not book it if you can’t see it first. This place looks nice on the website. The photos show a different story from what you find when you get there. They take their money from your credit card weeks before we even left for holiday and of course there is no cancellation refund. You see why when you get there from the front outside it looks nice but a very shoddy part of town.

I found a review a few days before we left saying they had bed bugs and was concerned but knowing we cannot cancel we went there anyway. When you get there you park around the back and they open the steel doors so you can park. They have security parking around back because the back alley is worse then any slum ghetto I have ever seen (including Detroit and New York). The owner was very nice she was there to take our money but that ended her involvement - she didn't even show us our room - she called an Indian woman who's English was not very good to take me up. My husband would not even get out of the car.

The smell inside was nasty. The room looks nothing like the pictures... Well maybe 15 years ago it did. I asked the girl to help me lift the mattress to look for bed bugs and she had to crawl on the bed to get to the other side. You can’t open the windows to get rig of the nasty smell. I did not see any bed bugs but in checking out the bed I noticed the sheets were old and worn. The pillows so flat they almost didn't exist. After she left I sat on the bed and the springs were pushing up into me. The bed sagged heavily in the centre. My guess is the mattress is as old as the house. We left 20 minutes after arriving. I didn't even bother to ask for a refund knowing they already had my money weeks before and I could consider it gone with their cancellation policy, 110 euros down the drain. I hope if you read this you think twice before booking. We saw a lot of much nicer places after we left for a lot less. Even hotel rooms were cheaper. We saw the pics on the website and they are deceptive. I will be reporting them in every travel place, AA,CAA,AAA Irish hotel federation and anywhere else I can so no other person has to lose their hard-earned money and have their trip spoiled
