Clarion Suites Anchorage Hotel

My two daughters stayed at the Clarion, they went to Anchorage for medical and shopping. When my daughter was checking out on March 2, 2008,she was told that they would charge her with a $200 charge for leaving excess trash. So be careful, they have hidden charges at the Clarion at Anchorage.

The hotel had a good location, it provided a good shuttle service, but I thought the room was weird with the jacuzzi in the bedroom. The carpet was stained and damp.

The hotel was in a convenient location. It was clean, quiet, and the room was ample in size. I would recommend it to others planning to visit Anchorage.

The front desk billed two credit cards for the same stay. Admittedly, the front desk clerk was new. Then the toilet was plugged up and dirty. The man at the front desk told me to come down and he would give me a plunger. They also have recently replaced all their mattresses for the hardest brand on the market. I was extremely uncomfortable. Two nights in a row we experienced people running and yelling at three o'clock in the morning. My adult daughter complained and she was told by the front desk clerk that there was nothing he could do about it. We have stayed there several times a year since it opened, but I believe this was our last stay with them.
