Clarion Inn DuBois Hotel

We had reservered seven rooms in advance, and were told then that we would all be together, but instead were from one end of the hall to the other. Also, they said we could have early check in at noon and we only got one room then and the other ones not until close to 3. We would have timed our arrival differently if they had not told us noon. We sat in the parking lot on lawn chairs for three hours. None of us have never been to a hotel where the housekeeping was still making beds and cleaning rooms at 9 PM. But during the day, they were in no hurry to get the rooms cleaned for reservations. Every time some one went in to go to the restroom, their carts were in the same place and they were in the breakroom. The only good part of hotel was the dining room and food.

I like that it is a friendly and comfortable place to stay.

I use a corporate lodging card and sometimes it takes longer and breakfast is not included as part of the stay.

The hotel is in a convenient location and has a nice restaurant. I wish it had an indoor pool, though.

This hotel is very inflexible for the ordinary traveler. They are unwilling to reconsider their cancellation policy even when the traveller is being evacuated (not to PA) due to an uncoming catastrophic cat. 5 huricane, Rita. The employee I spoke with even mentioned without remorse that their policy didn't change even for death. Very inflexible and only concerned with the bottom dollar!
